Annual Open House and Chicken & Ribs Barbecue July 5
Welcome to the NewBrook Fire & Rescue Department web site. The NewBrook department serves the Towns of Newfane and Brookline for fire and rescue services and the town of Townshend for rescue services. We are a non-profit volunteer fire department. Our firehouse is located on Vermont route 30 just north of the Newfane village. We currently have 5 pieces of motorized fire apparatus, a deep woods rescue sled and trailer. We are dispatched by the Southwest New Hampshire Fire Mutual Aid system out of Keene New Hampshire. While we do receive some funding from the above mentioned towns, the bulk of our financing comes from fund raising, weekly bingo, and donations. We are an active department and proud of our service to the local communities. We generally have a good turnout of members for the Sunday morning radio checks conducted by the Dispatching center. We welcome visitors at the station and are proud to show people around.
